Big Bash
Great competition, good way to start the day over the Christmas holidays.

We could learn from the way they schedule this.

Here's a clip from last year's competition.

Johnson has made a big difference. A few up the hooter and wicket taking deliveries. Nice having Bell in the middle order too.

Bresnan looks done.

Good stuff from the Yorkshireman Sammy WHITEMAN

Seems to have lost his accent and am sure he will be NICE GARRY-ing behind the stumps for Australia soon enough

Klinger has to be the best T20 batsman ever.

Wish Sussex would sign him up!

Channel 10 and Cricket Australia aim this competition at getting kids and women interested in cricket.
So I guess they feel like they a bit of REALITY TV needs to be in the mix when their interest drops.
Its effectively Channel 10 using one of their bigger audiences to bombard them with advertising for their upcoming schedule.

Sixers make 141/9 in their innings.

What I want to know is, why do Ten Sport devote so much of the innings break to talking about I'm a Celeb out there? I get that it's shown on Ten's channels, but Ponting and Waugh should be talking about cricket, not that.

Sixers v Scorchers final then, which incidentally is also the women's final.

Re: Big Bash
Literally shocked why the ball wasn't given to Stekete there, as he was superb beforehand.

Abbott for the Sixers maybe?

Terrible bowling and some good hits from Henriques leaving the Heat a mountain to climb.

Christ I turned my phone off when I saw Botha hit 3 x 4's in 4 balls, as figured it was all over.

Back on now, so cheers!!

Re: Big Bash
Ended up backing Hughes (Lumb got injured in the field), but this Labushange has probably just cost me by bowling some of the worst shit to Henriques.

Not helped by some cock running in from the rope to then see the ball land over his head where he had just been standing!

Re: Big Bash
Missed the boat today with Marsh maybe.

Have backed him in every single game and with the exception of the last one, that was a complete disaster!

Easy chase so far for the scorchers.

Will probably get involved tomorrow with Lumb and Ross depending on Heat's line up.

Scorchers v Heat final would be good.

Re: Big Bash
All the 9s.

That run out at the end was weird. Ball hit the stumps with the batsman two feet short and the He made his ground before the bail dislodged. Never seen anything like it.

Re: Big Bash
What a brilliant game of cricket and run chase.

Broad brings it home with some streaky fuckers.
